We are inspired by new and creative ways to share the power of music with audiences everywhere. In that spirit, music returns to Benaroya Hall as the Symphony launches a brand-new subscription-based streaming service for the 2020–2021 season. Seattle Symphony Live launches on September 8 and all 2020–2021 season subscribers will receive complimentary access to this streaming service.
Starting in September and October, the Seattle Symphony Live platform will premiere weekly livestreamed concerts with shortened programs and a smaller, socially distanced, PPE-protected orchestra. While in-person concerts with a live audience cannot resume until King County is safely in Phase 4 of the state’s reopening plan, this new streaming service will allow us to share new Symphony performances and educational programming directly from Benaroya Hall. Breaking with tradition, the Symphony will continue to share season updates in regular installments in order to remain responsive to the latest developments from state and public health officials.
