The Chick Corea Trio: Vigilette

Earlier this month, we were saddened to learn that legendary pianist Chick Corea had passed away after a brief battle with cancer. Due to this, the previously scheduled April 25, 2021 performance of The Chick Corea Trio: Vigilette will no longer take place. All tickets will be automatically refunded and ticket holders will be contacted.

Chick Corea has attained iconic status in music. The keyboardist, composer and bandleader is a DownBeat Hall of Famer and NEA Jazz Master, as well as the fourth-most nominated artist in Grammy Awards history with 63 nods – and 22 wins, in addition to a number of Latin Grammys.

Born and raised in Cuba, Carlitos is the son of the world famous bass player, Carlos Del Puerto. Since arriving in the United States, Carlitos' work ethic is clearly reflected in such credits as Bruce Springsteen, Quincy Jones, Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock to name just a few. He has fearlessly toured the world sustaining a high level of quality on his instrument and relentlessly inspiring audiences and musicians alike.

Gilmore has been repeatedly featured in world renown publications such as The New York Times, DownBeat Magazine and Modern Drummer.
